Interested in partnering with us?
Here are the most frequently asked questions we get from employers who are interested in partnering with us.
You need CNAs to cover certain cases. Without them, you are forced to turn down clients and leave potential income unearned. The SembraSchool CNA-I Training Program was developed with employers like you in mind. We offer convenient, fast-track programs so your new hires or current PCAs can obtain their CNA certification quickly—allowing you to get them into the community to care for clients ASAP!
There are three ways local healthcare employers can partner with SembraSchool:
- SCHOLARSHIP PARTNERS
Let us do the recruiting! We’ll send you potential candidates, you decide if they are a good fit for your organization. If you choose to hire and sponsor them in the program we’ll waive the registration fee (a $50 value). - SPONSORSHIP PARTNERS
You do the recruiting! When you sponsor your new hires and/or your established caregivers in the program you’ll qualify for:- $100 off tuition for each of 1 to 4 students
- $200 off tuition for each of 5+ students
- PRIVATE SESSION PARTNERS
We can hold a private class exclusively for your employees (minimum of 10 students required) for a flat fee of $750 per student.
The full price for the program is $999.00. This includes a non-refundable registration fee, tuition, textbook, uniform (scrubs and ID badge), and a criminal background check fee.
Partner Discounts: Our partners receive discounts of $50 to $200 per student. Download our Partnership Packet for more details.
The above program cost is all-inclusive for the SembraSchool CNA-I Training Program. The only additional cost is $140.00 payable to Credentia for the North Carolina state (written and skills) exam. Upon successful completion of the state exam, the Aide will be listed as a CNA-I on the NC Nurse Aide Registry.
Individuals that make a living providing essential direct care to the most vulnerable people in our communities are generally not in a position to be out of work for several weeks while paying for a training program. Our partnering agencies have come up with several creative solutions!
- Pay the full cost with a guarantee to work. Some employers have agreed to pay the tuition for their current PCAs or new hires to attend the school. In return, the caregiver signs a contract agreeing to work for the employer for a set period (i.e., 6 months, 1 year, or 18 months). Our 6-week evening program allows you to send your PCAs and new hires to school without disrupting their ability to care for clients. You get to keep the Aide on the schedule while he or she attends school.
- Agree to pay half the cost. Some agencies have found they get better results when the student has some “skin in the game.” These agencies will pay half the cost of the program and the student is responsible for the balance. We work with the student to come up with a payment plan that fits their budget in these cases. Upon graduation, the agency requires a shorter work commitment than if they had paid the full cost.
- Reimburse the Aide upon completion of the program. A third model used by our partners is reimbursement. These agencies agree to reimburse the student the cost of the program upon successful completion and passing the state exam in exchange for a work commitment.
Every state-approved CNA training program in North Carolina must follow the state’s strict guidelines and specific course content. However, just because all programs are required to teach the same knowledge and skills, not all programs are equal. At SembraSchool, we go above and beyond to bring the content to life and make the learning experience more meaningful! We are dedicated to preparing the next generation of CNAs to become the most valuable part of the healthcare team.
Our state-approved Nurse Aide I (NA-I) training program is 120 hours long and consists of 45 hours of classroom time, 35 hours in the lab, and 40 hours at the clinical site.
- Fast-track Evening Class: (6 weeks) Goes from 6 to 10pm, Monday through Friday.
- MWF Day Class: (10 weeks) Runs 1 to 5pm on Mon., Wed., and Fri.
