SembraSchool is looking for a passionate and patient Registered Nurse to be our Morning Clinical Instructor. If you love teaching, mentoring, and shaping the future of healthcare—this could be the perfect part-time role for you.

  • Morning Class: Meets 8:30am to 12:30pm, Mon-Fri

 

What our clinical instructors do:

  • Teach, practice, and coach students in the skills lab (training will be provided)
  • Take students to the clinical facility
  • Prepare students to pass the NC State Skills Exams (training provided)

 

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with an unencumbered North Carolina license.
  • At least two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse.
  • At least one of the followingA) completion of a course in teaching adults; B) experience in teaching adults; or C) experience in supervising nurse aides.

Part-Time Healthcare Instructor — PCA, MedTech & Medication Aide Classes

Location: Raleigh, NC (with possible travel to long-term care facilities across the region)

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $30–$32/hr

The Role

We’re looking for a Registered Nurse with long-term care experience to teach our PCA, MedTech, and Medication Aide courses. Training will be provided. You’ll lead classes at our Raleigh location and have the potential to travel to long-term care facilities to deliver on-site training. This is a part-time role built around upcoming class dates.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach PCA, 15-Hour MedTech, and 24-Hour Medication Aide certification courses
  • Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction that prepares students for real-world caregiving
  • Travel to long-term care facilities to provide on-site training as needed
  • Ensure all coursework meets DHHS and NC Board of Nursing standards and regulations
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate class records and documentation


What You Bring

  • Active RN license in North Carolina (required)
  • Direct experience working in long-term care settings.
  • Teaching or training experience preferred — but if you’re a natural educator with the clinical chops, we want to hear from you
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration, personal care practices, and skilled nursing facility operations
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for developing healthcare workers
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to off-site training locations
